Murphy Center Complex at MTSU

Detail: The Murphy Center opened on December 11, 1972 with a basketball game, Middle Tennessee State University vs Vanderbilt at 7:00 pm.  The Monte Hale Arena is home to both men's and women's basketball teams.  The Murphy Center is also home to the Health & Human Performance Department.  We also host all of Middle Tennessee State University's commencements in August, December, and May.  In the past years, we have also been host to concerts by Elvis Presley, The Judds, and Garth Brooks.  The arena seats 10,000 fans during basketball games, and it is still the ideal venue to host an event.
